HARTLAND — The Kaukauna High School girls cross country team raced to its first state championship Saturday in a season that nearly didn’t happen because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ghosts were led by senior Anna Fauske, who finished fourth with a time of 18:23.8.
A victory parade is scheduled through Kaukauna for 7 p.m. Saturday.
This year’s Division 1 race was held at Arrowhead High School.
