According to the Wisconsin DNR, 2020 is already one for the record books with more than 90,000 anglers purchasing a first-time fishing license.
Almost 1.4 million returning anglers hit the water this year and there was over a 10 percent increase in both new resident and nonresident anglers from last year.
Licenses are good through March 31.
