This week in sports: Wrestling, girls and boys hoops
Girls hoops host playoff game at home; Wresting sectional at home; Boys hoops at Kimberly tickets on sale.
KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna girls basketball team gets its first playoff game at home Feb. 23, 2016 whin regionals begin in the WIAA Division 2 basketball post-season tournament.
The No. 8 seed Ghosts host No. 9 seed Marinette at 7 p.m. at Kaukauna High School.
The game is in effect a play-in game, with the reward for the winner being a trip to No. 1 Pulaski on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016.
If Kaukauna gets hot, they could end up back home, with Kaukauna hosting the sectional semifinal March 3.

The girls championships are March 10-12, 2016 at the Resch Center in Green Bay
Wrestling
After winning the Port Washington regional Saturday, the Ghosts will face Slinger in the team sectional on Tuesday at Kaukauna. Action begins at 7 p.m.
Kaukauna had eight regional champions, according to the Post-Crescent, and advanced 13 wrestlers to the sectional meet, easily winning the team championship with 291 points.
Winning regional championships for Kaukauna were Brandon Micksh (113), Ty Lee (120), Trent Leon (126), Zach Lee (138), Drew Krepline (152), Zach Frassetto (182), Mason Van Asten (220) and Keaton Kluever (285).
Boys baskeball vs. Kimberly
There is a pre-sale for the Kaukauna at Kimberly boys basketball game for Feb 16, 2016. Tip time 7:15 p.m.
The game will be livestreamed on the Post-Crescent website.
