Ernie Banks, the two-time National League MVP who played for only one club — the Chicago cubs — his entire major league career, died Friday at the age of 83.

A public visitation and memorial services will be held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31, 2015 at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago.

The visitation will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, 126 E. Chestnut St., near North Michigan Avenue.

On Saturday, the memorial services will begin at 10 a.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church, with limited public seating available.
